Dancing with you, as waves collide,
Every step, a rhythm, a truth amplified.
If only you knew, all I’ve ever desired,
Was your heart with mine, endlessly inspired.

Everything—just you, just me, just us.
A dream too vast to name, yet too fragile to trust.
What are we now, after all these years?
After all this time, through doubts and tears?

Is there still a thread that ties us tight,
Or just the memory of love’s fleeting light?
You left your soul, raw and bare, in my embrace,
Only to wear a mask, a foreign face.
